Isabel Pelaez, M.S. CCC-SLP

Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (English/Spanish) / Clinic Director

Isabel holds a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Lamar University since 2014. After receiving her certificate of clinical competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), she went on to work with children ages 0-21 in the Houston area in private practices, and home health settings, where she has also served as supervisor to Speech Language Pathologist Assistants and Speech Language Pathologist-Interns. Her specialties and areas of interest include: A sensory approach to language development, Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy, and language development in children within the spectrum. Isabel has experience providing evaluation and treatment of speech, receptive/expressive and pragmatic language, cognition and swallowing in children and adults in English and Spanish.
Isabel is frequently attending educational seminars and training to stay current with the latest research in order to expand her skills as a Speech-Language Pathologist, and provide the most innovative and effective therapy to her patients. She holds a certification in Sensory Integration from The University of Southern California
